Meaning guess
How to use
Start the game to prepare the on-device model. Enter words, follow higher similarity scores and use category or first-letter hints to narrow down the answer.
Words are compared on your device and never included in model download requests.
Supported input
Korean and English interfaces. Words or short phrases up to 40 characters, 100 guesses per puzzle. The first run downloads about 130MB of model data plus runtime files and requires a network connection and device memory.
Input example
Narrow the meaning step by step, such as animal → cat → dog. The example is not today’s answer.
Result example
The real model score and the number of guesses. A correct guess shows the answer and your record.
Troubleshooting
Wait or cancel during preparation. For network or memory errors, close other tabs and retry. Duplicate words do not create duplicate history entries.
Limitations
No dictionary-wide or worldwide ranks are claimed. Actual model cosine similarity is not a human judgement or the probability of being correct. Answer candidates are present in client source; this is not a secure competition or reward system.
How it works
A pinned multilingual MiniLM q8 model produces 384-dimensional, mean-pooled, normalized embeddings. Cosine similarity is the vector dot product divided by both vector lengths.
Units & precision
Cosine similarity × 100, displayed to one decimal. The range is -100 to 100; it is not a probability or dictionary rank.
